True North Physical Therapy is a direct pay clinic; insurance is not accepted. Direct pay allows the cost of physical therapy services to be more reasonable than traditional health care clinics.

Payment is due upon receipt of service and your health insurance will not be directly billed. This allows me to limit overhead costs, ultimately increasing the value of your dollar. My goal at True North Physical Therapy is to provide high quality care at an affordable cost to all patients in the Madison area. Whether you are insured, under-insured, uninsured, in or out of network, you are welcome at True North Physical Therapy. You no longer need to ask: “Who will my insurance allow me to see? Will my insurance cover this?” Instead, you are empowered to choose your physical therapist. With direct pay, your focus shifts to: “Whom can I trust to deliver the best care?” Fair, transparent pricing will meet your individual needs.

One exception applies to those enrolled in Medicare. Medicare does not allow enrollees to pay directly for their own physical therapy services and instead requires them to use their Medicare benefits. True North Physical Therapy is a direct pay clinic, therefore insurance, including Medicare, is not accepted. Based on federal law, those with Medicare can not seek care for physical therapy services at True North Physical Therapy. There are certain services Medicare does not pay for and enrollees can purchase those at their own cost. Wellness services and prevention are not covered by Medicare, so it is within your right to purchase these services.

All physical therapy and wellness visits are a minimum of 30 minutes. Payment for all service is due at the time of service. Payment may be rendered via cash, check, debit/credit card, or HSA. Please note all debit/credit transactions will be accessed a fee of 3%. True North Physical Therapy does not bill insurance for services provided. However, if you would like to submit your physical therapy bill to your health insurance for partial reimbursement, we can provide you with the appropriate documentation. The amount of reimbursement will vary according to the terms of your insurance policy. I cannot guarantee or estimate reimbursement.

Furthermore, 3% of your total cost will be donated to The Beacon to lift up our Madison community.
